PART
1: Transportation & Related Services
(a)
24 / 365 - TOLL FREE EMERGENCY PICKUP SERVICE
In the event that a member is involved in a breakdown
that renders a covered bicycle un-rideable, the member
is entitled to be picked up - free of charge (Up to
a $100.00 Per Incident Limit) at the time of disablement.
Emergency Pickup service is available throughout the
United States and parts of Canada. See the terms and
conditions for specifics.
(b)
EMERGENCY BICYCLE ROADSIDE SERVICE
When a participating member's bicycle becomes disabled
(during a ride, 3 miles or more from the member's
home), Pedal Secure will dispatch one of its service
vehicles to deliver the bicycle and rider to the nearest
Pedal Secure Authorized Bicycle Dealer for covered
repairs, or member may forgo any immediate repairs
by choosing to be transported to their home or place
of employment (within 25 mile radius of home). However,
any repairs coming from a covered transportation incident
MUST be started within 7 calendar days of said incident
or Repair Benefits are forfeited for that incident.
(c)
LOST KEY - LOCKOUT SERVICE
In the event a member loses his or her key to a registered
locked bicycle, Pedal Secure will send a service representative
to cut the lock. Member must have their membership
ID or wallet card, the bicycle serial number matching
the one on file and two forms of identification. Pedal
Secure is NOT responsible for the lock or any lock
replacement. We apologize for being so strict on this
coverage however; we never want to cut a lock that
doesn't belong to a Pedal Secure member. For your
protection and for ours, PLEASE keep you ID with you
at all times when you're riding your bicycle.
(d)
ACCIDENT RECOVERY SERVICE
In the event member is in a bicycle accident NOT involving
a motor vehicle and member is unable to power his/her
bicycle home, or member has to be taken to the hospital,
Pedal Secure will pickup the members bicycle and store
the bicycle for the member.
(e)
24-HOUR EMERGENCY BICYCLE LOCATOR
In the event a member's bicycle is stolen or abandoned,
member received a special coded decal with Pedal Securer's
24-hour service number for passerby, police, sanitation
or other officials to call when they observe the member's
stolen and/or abandoned bicycle.
(f)
24-HOUR NATIONWIDE EMERGENCY ROOM LOCATOR
When biking across the country, if a member becomes
sick or injured; just call the 24-hour emergency room
locator operator for the nearest emergency room. Operator
will provide member with the location and directions
to the nearest emergency room or urgent care facility.

All Repairs are Subject to a $150.00 Dollar Limit
as Specified in the Pedal Secure Membership Agreement
and is Based on a Per Incident Aggregate. Repairs
are Available Only when the Transportation Service
takes the Bicycle to an Authorized Pedal Secure Bicycle
Dealer at the Time of Disablement or Member presents
the transported bicycle to an Authorized Pedal Secure
Bicycle Dealer who starts the Covered Repairs Within
7 Calendar Days of the Initial Incident.
